Lately, the on-chain data keeps "lagging," at first I thought it was my internet acting up again… then I realized it’s normal: indexers/Subgraphs are like someone slowly organizing the ledger in the background, and when you rush them, they have to queue; RPC rate limiting is more like a security guard at the door, asking too many people and stopping for a moment. Basically, it’s not that the chain isn’t moving, it’s just that the window you see responds a bit slowly.

When the cross-chain bridge was hacked, everyone suddenly collectively "updated their version": they’d rather wait for a few more confirmations than be fooled by a fake progress bar; when the oracle quotes are abnormal, the first thing in the group chat is also "Don’t rush, wait for confirmation." I’m the same now—when I see data that doesn’t look right, I take a deep breath first, turn off the refresh button, because rushing won’t help anyway… just like that for now.
