Many people say that when you’re in profit, you just can’t hold onto it—then use a floating take-profit instead. Look at my “ant position”—this is what the idea of holding a core position is for. After you cut down your position, keep just a little of your ant position. Don’t be afraid that the unrealized profit will give back—after all, you’ve already taken most of the profit. Sometimes, even the core position can surprise you.
