Meta launches AI chat robot subscription service in an attempt to offset related expenses
Meta is launching its first consumer-facing Meta AI chatbot subscription service, aimed at offsetting the company's massive investments in AI. There are two tiers: Meta One Plus at $7.99 per month and Meta One Premium at $19.99, initially launching in Singapore, Guatemala, and Bolivia, with plans to expand. Users can still use the chatbot for free to generate images/videos, but with usage limits; the official has not disclosed specific restrictions for each tier, but Premium's usage is noticeably higher than Plus.
