Lately, the secondary market has been arguing about royalties. To put it simply: creators want a steady stream of income, while traders complain that every time they transact, they get “took a bite”… I used to keep chasing after the question of “who’s right,” but now I’m a bit worn out. I don’t keep going down that rabbit hole to explain anymore—I’ll just roll with it. If someone’s willing to pay, they keep playing; if not, they’ll vote with their feet. The market will eventually grind the emotions down on its own.

On the other hand, L2 is constantly measuring TPS, comparing fees, and debating ecosystem subsidies—arguing like it’s a matter of grabbing business. But what creators may really care about probably isn’t “being 0.2 seconds faster,” but whether, after the work starts circulating, they can still be treated like actual people. Even as a short-term speed trader like me, I have to admit that some things can’t be solved just by cheaper gas… For now, I’ll leave it at that—continue squatting by the mempool, watching for the next wave of events.
