Deep Tide TechFlow News, May 28 — According to Bloomberg, Google software engineer Michele Spagnuolo has been indicted in the U.S. District Court in New York for allegedly engaging in insider trading on the prediction market platform Polymarket. The indictment states that he profited over $1 million by betting on a popular internet search-related contract last year. Michele Spagnuolo, 36 years old, has appeared in court for a hearing and was released on a $2.25 million bond. The case has also reignited public concern over the risks of insider trading in prediction markets.
