I've been looking for reliable brokers in Mexico to invest in the stock market, and honestly, there are quite a few options regulated by the CNBV. I started researching because I wanted to make sure I didn't mess up with a questionable platform.
Of those I reviewed, Actinver is one of the most well-known, although the minimum deposit is 10,000 pesos, which is not bad if you have capital. Then there's GBM, which is more accessible with 1,000 pesos and has pretty decent tools. Kuspit surprised me because you can start with just 100 pesos, ideal if you're just dipping your toes into investing. Bursanet is also in the scene; it's part of Casa de Bolsa Actinver, and they offer commission-free trading for the first 30 days.
What's interesting is that there are also international brokers operating here, like Mitrade, which is regulated by ASIC in Australia. It allows trading CFDs on stocks, currencies, and cryptocurrencies all in one account, although it's obviously a different style of trading.
Honestly, before choosing any broker, you need to consider what assets you need, how much you're going to invest, and how active you'll be. Regulated brokers in Mexico must comply with fund segregation rules and all that, which provides more peace of mind. I would recommend comparing commissions because they vary quite a bit depending on the volume you trade.
In the end, if you're a beginner, Kuspit or GBM are good options; if you have more capital, Actinver or Bursanet offer more tools. The important thing is that any broker you choose is regulated—that's what protects you if something goes wrong. Which one are you using or considering?
