My current conclusion is quite flexible: anyone can jump on the trending topics, but I try not to follow the emotions, preferring to earn less rather than be repeatedly caught by the "attention tax." To put it simply, the more something is being hyped across the entire internet, the often unseen costs are the time and mental energy you don't realize.

Recently, there’s been a bunch of testnet incentives and token expectation guesses, everyone guessing whether the mainnet will issue tokens... I get the itch too, but I first ask myself: if they ultimately don’t issue tokens, would I still be willing to keep using it? If it’s just for screenshots and check-ins, then it’s probably just being led along. Anyway, I now prefer to focus my energy on a few projects that are truly useful and capable of running long-term, taking it slow and steady to keep the rhythm stable.
