Today I set a rule for myself: slow down. That kind of "coincidental transfer" on the chain, I used to immediately imagine conspiracy theories when I saw it, then my hand would go to click on perpetual... but most of the time I would be carried away by emotions. Now I force myself to break it down into steps: where the money came from, how many intermediaries it passed through, whether the same addresses are looping around, and finally where it lands (exchange/contract/auction contract), turning the "coincidence" into a "plausible explanation" first, at least making it less scary.
By the way, the arguments over NFT royalties are quite similar; everyone wants an immediate answer: either collect all or none. But liquidity is inherently slow, and only then can you see clearly. Anyway, I’ll slow down first and review, so I don’t get triggered by those suspicious transfers before the waterfall.
