Just watched a list of gold shops that are worth considering for investment in 2569 this year, and I felt like I should share my thoughts. There are just so many options, but if I’m truly going to choose, I need to check which shop is trustworthy—whether it’s a member of the Gold Trade Association of Thailand—and, most importantly, what time the shop opens, because it has to match our free time.
Based on what I’ve studied, long-established shops like Huasengheng, Yaowaraj Gold House, and TTK have an operating history of more than 50–160 years. Meanwhile, Aurora, Mae Thong Suk, Ausiris, and YLG Bullion are also the real deal when it comes to investing in gold bars. Some shops offer 24-hour online services, which is convenient for people like us.
But that’s exactly why you need to be careful. It’s not that any gold shop will do—you should choose one that provides a guarantee certificate, check the weight in front of you, and ask clearly about the premium before purchasing. Selling back to the same shop you bought from is the best option; otherwise, you may end up losing in both price and credibility.
For beginners, you need to decide what you’re buying gold for—jewelry, a long-term investment, or short-term speculation—then choose the right shop accordingly. Don’t randomly pick a shop if you don’t know what you’re doing.
