I've been looking for the best app to invest with when you have little capital, and honestly, there are quite decent options now. A few years ago, it was impossible to start with $20, but that has changed.
MyTrade surprised me because it really simplifies everything. The interface is clean, without much noise, and you can trade stocks, crypto, gold—all from one account. They have integrated TradingView charts, and the commission is zero. The minimum deposit of $20 is the most accessible I've seen. For someone just starting out, this is probably the best app to invest if you're looking for something straightforward.
If you already have experience, things change. AvaTrade and XM offer much more leverage and compatibility with MetaTrader 4 and 5, which is what serious traders use. Plus500 has an incredible variety of assets (more than 2800 CFDs) and has just entered futures and prediction markets. XM is aggressive with leverage, up to 1000x, so if you know what you're doing, it's powerful.
Now, if your thing is learning by copying others, eToro remains the best app for social investing. Copy trading is its strength: you replicate the trades of experienced investors effortlessly.
The real question is, what is the best app to invest with according to your profile? Are you a beginner? Go for MyTrade. Want more options and experience? Try AvaTrade or Plus500. Looking for extreme leverage? XM. Prefer to follow others? eToro.
The best app to invest with is the one that fits your needs. Everyone has low deposits now, so that’s not the point. It’s more about what tools you use, what assets you want, and whether you prefer to go solo or copy strategies. Before investing real money, practice with demo accounts. All trading involves risk, so don’t let emotions take over.
