I've been looking for the best app to trade without needing thousands in your account, and honestly, after reviewing several options, I’ve come to some interesting conclusions.

The truth is, it really depends on your profile. If you're just starting out, Mitrade is quite accessible—you can get started with just $20, and the interface isn't overwhelming. What I liked is that they have integrated TradingView charts and zero commissions, so at least they don’t bleed you on spreads. They also offer a demo account with 50,000 virtual dollars to practice risk-free.

Now, if you already have experience and are looking for something more serious, AvaTrade and XM offer MetaTrader 4 and 5, which are used by traders who take this seriously. AvaTrade has professional options with higher leverage, while XM allows you to go up to 1000x if you want to play risky. Both have accessible deposits ($100 and $5 respectively).

Plus500 is interesting if you're into futures trading and prediction markets—they have about 2,800 CFDs available, so the variety of assets is considerable. eToro, on the other hand, goes a different route: its copy trading is its thing, ideal if you prefer copying strategies from experienced traders instead of doing your own research.

The question of which app is the best for trading really doesn’t have a single answer. Mitrade wins in simplicity for beginners, AvaTrade in platform versatility, Plus500 in asset variety, XM in pure leverage, and eToro in the social aspect of trading. The important thing is that all are regulated and have low deposits, so the risk of losing money depends more on your decisions than on the platform.

Before putting in real money, all offer demo accounts to practice. And of course, trading always involves risk—the key is to stay well-informed and not go all-in on your first trade.
