I just looked at the list of the most trusted gold shops in Thailand and found that there are truly excellent stores, whether for buying jewelry or investing.

Old shops like Hua Seng Heng, Mae Thong Sook, and Thong Yao Ratch have long histories, over 50-70 years. They are members of the Gold Traders Association, with standard pricing, so there's no need to worry about being scammed.

If you prefer online shopping, conveniently available options include Aurora, Ausiris, and MTS Gold, which are open 24 hours for trading in both bars and jewelry. But you must choose a trustworthy platform.

Other options such as TTK, YLG Bullion, Jin Hwa Heng, and Thong Bai are certified stores with branches nationwide, some even in provinces like Korat.

The important thing is to select stores that are confirmed members of the association, check weights in front of you, keep the receipt, and sell back at the same shop.

However, if you're investing for the long term, gold bars are better, but you need to consider storage costs. For jewelry, gold ornaments are fine, but the premium will be higher, and resale prices are lower.

It's recommended to study carefully before making a purchase decision, as each store has its pros and cons.
