My multi-chain wallet now starts to fragment assets as I add more chains, like stuffing loose change into every coat pocket… and I can’t even find them later.
I’ve learned my lesson: keep only the main assets and long-term holdings in the primary wallet, and treat other chains as “change wallets,” consolidating back into one or two commonly used L2s after use, otherwise every transfer back and forth, with fees and mental fatigue, becomes more expensive.
Recently, everyone’s L2s are still competing over TPS, fees, and subsidies, arguing loudly, but I care more about not being cut into eight pieces.
Last night, a bridge transaction got stuck, and I was frantically refreshing/retrying, just like queuing in the mempool.
It wasn’t until the funds finally arrived that I realized: managing things well is way more important than chasing new chains.
Anyway, I don’t pretend to understand everything—just want to sleep peacefully first.
