I just looked at the data on the most expensive currencies in the world this year. I think it's very interesting. It turns out that the Kuwaiti Dinar ranks first, trading at 3.26 dollars per unit. Followed by the Bahraini Dinar and the Omani Rial. Most of them come from oil-exporting countries that are equally wealthy.

But what surprised me is that the British Pound Sterling and the Swiss Franc are still on the list. Not only because of a strong economy, but also because of trust in the financial system. The Euro is also at the bottom of the list but still has a high value. It seems that truly expensive currencies must belong to countries that are stable both economically and politically.
