I've been looking for the best apps to trade with little money because I wanted to start investing without risking too much. The truth is, there are many options now, so I decided to try several and share what I found.

For beginners like me, MiTrade was the first one I tried. The interface is super clean, without much unnecessary noise. You can start with just $20 USD, which is incredible. It has integrated TradingView charts and tight spreads with no commissions. What I liked is that you don't need to be an expert to understand how it works. They offer $50,000 USD in demo for 90 days, perfect for practicing without fear.

Then I tried AvaTrade, which is different. This one is more for experienced people looking for higher leverage. It was founded in 2006 and has tools like ZuluTrade to automate investments. It supports MetaTrader 4 and 5, which is what serious traders use. The minimum deposit is $100 USD, so that's a step up.

I also reviewed Plus500. It is listed on the London Stock Exchange and has over 2,800 CFDs available. It’s one of the best apps for trading if you’re looking for a variety of assets, but it’s more geared toward traders with prior experience. The app is comprehensive, although a bit overwhelming if you’re just starting out. It also requires a minimum of $100 USD.

XM is interesting if what you want is very high leverage, up to 1000x. It has different account types depending on your level. The minimum deposit is the lowest, only $5 USD. But honestly, that high leverage gives me vertigo. It’s for profiles that really know what they’re doing.

And then there’s eToro, which is completely different. Launched in 2007, it’s the social trading platform. The special feature is copy trading: you can automatically copy what experienced investors do. However, you need at least $200 USD per trader you copy. The initial deposit is $50 USD. It’s great if you want to learn by watching others.

The reality is that there’s no one-size-fits-all best app. It all depends on what you’re looking for. If you’re a beginner and want something simple with little money, MiTrade wins. If you already have experience and want more tools, AvaTrade or XM are better. Plus500 if you need many different assets. And eToro if you prefer to learn by copying others.

The important thing is to practice on the demo account before putting real money in. All of them offer that. And although it seems obvious, remember that trading involves risks. It’s not easy money. I keep practicing and learning, so if someone else is on the same wavelength, see you in the charts.
