I just spent the past few weeks testing different apps for trading with little money, and honestly, it changed my perspective quite a bit. I used to think you needed thousands of dollars to get started, but now there are quite accessible options.

The one that surprised me the most was MiTrade. I started with just $20, and the interface is so clean it almost scared me. No unnecessary buttons, integrated TradingView charts, and you can trade stocks, cryptocurrencies, gold, all from a single account. The best part is they give $50,000 virtual dollars to practice risk-free. For someone just starting out, it's practically perfect.

Then I tried AvaTrade, and it's on another level. More geared toward experienced traders. It has MetaTrader 4 and 5, nearly 1,200 assets, and if you want more leverage, there's the professional account option. The minimum deposit is $100, so it's for someone more serious.

Plus500 has the widest variety of assets, over 2,800. They just entered the futures market in the United States, which I found interesting. But you also need a minimum of $100.

XM is for traders who master MetaTrader. The leverage they offer is huge, up to 1,000x, but be careful with that. You can start with $5, which is quite low. They have different account types depending on what you're looking for.

And then there's eToro, which is different. Copy trading is its strength. You automatically copy what experienced traders do. I started with $50, and honestly, it's relaxing to let others do the work while you learn.

The truth is, the best app for trading depends on who you are. If you're a beginner, MiTrade is undeniable. If you already have experience and want MetaTrader, AvaTrade or XM. If you want futures, Plus500. If you prefer learning by copying, eToro.

What matters is that it's no longer an excuse to say you don't have money to start. All these apps are regulated, safe, and let you try with small amounts. Just remember, all trading carries risk. Practice first in demo mode, don't rush.
