Several crypto companies have entered the preliminary inclusion list of the Russell Index, and Bitmine and Galaxy may be included in the Russell 1000.
Deep Tide TechFlow News, May 27 — FTSE Russell announced the preliminary inclusion list for the Russell 3000 Index, which includes crypto-related companies such as Sharplink, Forward Industries, Gemini, Galaxy Digital, and Bitmine Immersion Technologies.
Among them, Sharplink has a market cap of about $1.2 billion, Forward Industries about $350 million, and they may qualify for inclusion in the Russell 2000; Bitmine and Galaxy Digital, with a market cap of approximately $11.55 billion, may meet the threshold for Russell 1000 inclusion.
The Russell 3000 tracks the 3,000 largest companies by market value in the United States. The final list will be updated on June 5, 12, and 18, and will take effect after the close of the U.S. stock market on June 26.
