Supreme Court: Study and formulate normative documents on judicial protection of AI-related cases and data property rights

Golden Finance reports that on May 27, the State Council Information Office held a series of themed press conferences titled “Starting the ‘Fifteenth Five-Year Plan’ with a Strong Start,” introducing relevant information regarding “Advancing Comprehensive Governance of the Country by Law.”

At the press conference, Liu Guixiang, a deputy-ministerial level full-time member of the Judicial Committee and a second-level justice of the Supreme People’s Court, said that the people’s courts will adhere to the “two unswerving commitments,” implement the Law on Promoting the Development of the Private Economy, and legally and equally protect the legitimate rights and interests of all market entities of various types.

They will focus on addressing issues such as the use of criminal and administrative measures to interfere in economic disputes, especially problems involving profit-seeking and violations such as off-site jurisdiction, and improve a regularized mechanism for preventing and correcting wrongful, mistaken cases.
