Chongqing issues a flood yellow alert, expecting Apeng River and Zhuohe Dam Station to exceed warning levels

According to the Chongqing Hydrological Monitoring Station, influenced by upstream rainfall and incoming water, it is expected that the Apongjiang Zhehe Dam (3) station in Qianjiang District will experience a significant rise in water levels in the next 24 hours, with the highest water level exceeding the warning level (409.50 meters) by 0.5—1.0 meters, an increase of approximately 2.2—3.2 meters. The Chongqing Hydrological Monitoring Station has issued a yellow flood warning for Apongjiang in Qianjiang District. Relevant units along the river and the public are advised to strengthen precautions and evacuate in a timely manner. (CCTV News)
