Coin World News, according to U.S. Axios News, Michael Needham—senior aide to U.S. Secretary of State Rubio, a U.S. State Department adviser, and director of the Office of Policy Planning—has been appointed Deputy Assistant to the President for National Security Affairs, replacing Robert Gabriel, who left the post this month. White House Chief of Staff Susie Wiles announced that Gabriel would be leaving on the 20th of this month. Needham has served as Rubio’s chief of staff since 2018, when Rubio was a U.S. senator at the time, and later joined the Trump administration together with Rubio. The position of Assistant to the President for National Security Affairs is currently held by Rubio.
