Supreme Court: Will conduct in-depth research on judicial rules for new types of cases such as virtual currencies

PANews May 27 News, according to Yicai.com, today, at the “Starting and Launching the ‘15th Five-Year Plan’” series of thematic press conferences held by the State Council Information Office, Liu Guixiang, a deputy-ministerial-level full-time member of the Adjudication Committee of the Supreme People’s Court and a second-rank judge, said that people’s courts will conduct in-depth research on new rules for adjudicating cases such as virtual currencies and cross-border finance, and will promptly develop civil compensation judicial interpretations related to insider trading and market manipulation, so as to ensure the steady operation of the capital market and effectively safeguard the lawful rights and interests of small and medium investors.
