Wu has learned that, according to crypto journalist Eleanor Terrett, in the Democratic primary runoff for Texas's 18th congressional district (TX-18), newcomer Congressman CD Menefee defeated the incumbent Al Green, who has served for 20 years. This was partly aided by millions of dollars in funding from a cryptocurrency-backed super political action committee (super PAC). Among them, Fairshake and its affiliates invested about $6.5 million in the election, most of which was used to support Menefee.
