Mars Finance News: The State Council Information Office held a series of themed press conferences titled “Getting Off to a Strong Start and Advancing the 15th Five-Year Plan,” introducing information related to “Promoting Comprehensive Law-Based Governance.” Liu Guixiang, a vice-ministerial full-time member of the Judicial Committee of the Supreme People’s Court and a second-tier chief justice, said that the Supreme People’s Court will conduct in-depth research into adjudication rules for new types of cases such as virtual currencies and cross-border finance, and will promptly formulate judicial interpretations on civil compensation concerning insider trading and market manipulation, to ensure the sound and steady operation of the capital market and protect the lawful rights and interests of small and medium-sized investors. In addition, he said that, in response to new business models in the digital economy, the Supreme People’s Court will study and develop normative documents on judicial protection of data property rights in cases involving artificial intelligence, and will improve adjudication rules regarding data ownership, data trading, and AI-generated content.
