According to the Chongqing Hydrological Bureau, from 8:00 on May 26 to 8:00 on May 27, heavy rainfall to torrential rain struck northeastern and southeastern Chongqing.
Wanzhou, Liangping, Dianjiang, Zhongxian, Yunyang, Fengdu, Wushan, Shizhu, Wulong, Qianjiang, Xiushan, Youyang, Pengshui, and 13 districts reported heavy rainfall, with Fengdu experiencing a torrential rain.
Fengdu District Xinglong Town recorded a peak daily rainfall of 101 millimeters.
A tributary, Longwa Gou in Zhongxian, exceeded the warning water level, but has since fallen below the warning threshold.
Additionally, 32 tributaries' water levels rose by 1 to 5 meters, all remaining below the warning water level.
