Just now, I was itching to move a transaction from Chain A to Chain B, but I stopped at the cross-chain step... To put it plainly, "cross-chain" isn't as simple as clicking a button. You’re not only trusting the two chains themselves, but also the message passing verification methods, who is forwarding, whether multi-signature/relay/light client mechanisms are involved, and whether the front end is actually showing you the same transaction. I feel more at ease with an approach like IBC, since the verification logic is more "on-chain," but it’s not invincible either—client updates, timeouts, chain halts can all cause issues. Recently, meme attention has been coming in waves. When newcomers get excited, they rush to chase hot topics across bridges. I can only advise: don’t spread your trust too thin just to catch the last leg, and don’t risk messing up the main chain first.
