Coin World News: The UK is set to sign a new defense and security agreement with Poland to curb the threat posed by Russia. According to a statement from 10 Downing Street (the UK Prime Minister’s Office), UK Prime Minister Keir Starmer will finalize the agreement on Wednesday in London during a meeting with Polish Prime Minister Tusk. The two leaders also plan to discuss the growing number of so-called hybrid attacks, such as Russia setting fires in London, starting freight fires in Birmingham and other parts of Europe, as well as cyberattacks and espionage activities. The statement said that under the agreement, the UK and Poland aim to jointly produce the next generation of medium-range air defense missiles, while conducting large-scale joint drills. The two countries will also speed up cooperation to disrupt hostile forces’ malicious attempts to sow discord.
