Recently, I was looking for apps to start trading without investing a lot of money upfront, and I was surprised how easy it is now. I found several that actually work well even if you're starting from zero.

MyTrade caught my attention because it's super minimalist. The app is designed so you don't get lost among unnecessary buttons. You can trade stocks, forex, Bitcoin, all from a single account with an initial deposit of just $20. It has integrated TradingView charts and a demo account with $50k virtual funds to practice risk-free. Perfect if you're just starting out in trading.

If you already have some experience, AvaTrade offers more tools. Supports MetaTrader 4 and 5, has retail and professional accounts with higher leverage, and access to over 1200 assets. The minimum deposit is $100.

Plus500 is another popular choice. It’s listed on the London Stock Exchange, has over 2800 CFDs available, and recently entered futures and prediction markets. Good for those looking for variety in trading assets.

XM is the choice for those who master MetaTrader. Offers very high leverage (up to 1000x), different account types including micro lots, and you can start with just $5. Inactivity fee of $15 after 3 months without trading.

eToro is different because it has copy trading. Basically, you automatically copy what experienced traders do. Many beginners use it to learn this way. Minimum deposit of $50 and access to 3000+ real assets, not just CFDs.

The truth is, all of these are regulated by official agencies, so they are safe to use. The key is to choose based on what you're looking for: if it's your first time trading, MiTrade or eToro. If you already know what you're doing, AvaTrade or XM give you more flexibility. Plus500 if you want to explore futures.

One important thing: all of this involves risk. Before investing real money, practice with the demo accounts that all of them offer. It’s not as easy as it looks, but at least now trading apps are accessible to anyone with little capital.
