Been looking into commodity trading lately and honestly there's way more options than I expected. Started with Mitrade since everyone talks about it, but then I realized the best commodities trading platforms really depend on what you're trying to do. Some are great for beginners, others are basically for people who know what they're doing.

Like, if you want something simple to start with, Mitrade and eToro make sense - they don't make you feel stupid with their interfaces. But if you're serious about analyzing charts and getting deep into it, IG Group and CMC Markets have better tools, though they're more complex. Plus500 is solid if you just want straightforward spreads without commission games.

The spreads vary a lot between platforms - some charge almost nothing, others are higher but give you better research. Interactive Brokers is insane if you're trading high volume, but yeah, the learning curve is steep. Saxo Bank feels premium but expensive. AvaTrade's okay for educational stuff.

I think the best commodities trading platforms really come down to fees, how many assets they offer, and whether you can actually use the platform without pulling your hair out. Gold, oil, metals, agricultural stuff - most of them let you trade all that through CFDs now. What's your experience with these? Anyone actually making consistent gains?
