Lately I've been struggling again: should I stick to the mainnet for "stability" or run L2 to save gas and have a smoother experience? Honestly, my current compromise is this—small, frequent transactions (swapping tokens, claiming airdrop fragments) stay on L2 for convenience; if I need to make large deposits or leverage, I go back to the mainnet. It’s more expensive, but I feel more secure, especially since I get anxious if I don’t check my health metrics every day...

The bridge part is also quite annoying. Saving on fees, but then waiting for confirmations or worrying about bridge risks just adds emotional costs back. Now I try to cross as little as possible, sticking to a few commonly used networks, keeping assets layered, even if it’s slower, I don’t want to mess myself up.

Also, the recent NFT royalty debate feels quite similar: wanting better income for creators versus wanting stronger secondary liquidity. In the end, everyone’s weighing "cost" versus "experience," but one is gas fees, the other is royalties. Anyway, I’ll stick to my OCD—pay as little as possible, but I can’t compromise on the safety of my core holdings.
