Recently, I have been closely following Carol Paiffer's career, and it is truly impressive to see how she built a fortune estimated at around US$ 900 million. It's not something that happens overnight, you know?

It all started back in 2005 when she and her brother Joaquim began trading on the stock exchange while still in college. They founded Paiffer Investments in 2006 and immediately managed over 600 clients. While the Ibovespa dropped more than 30% in 2008, their portfolio showed an average appreciation of 40%. That says a lot about the discipline and knowledge they had.

But the big step came with Atom. In 2013, Carol took over as CEO and transformed the company into what it is today: Latin America's first publicly traded trading company. The model is quite interesting — Atom allocates its own capital to professional traders who operate and share the profits. Initially, it didn't work well because many traders lacked preparation, so Carol created Atom University to train professionals. Now, traders can keep up to 80% of the profits, which is quite rare around here.

What stands out is how she diversified her investments. She didn't just stick to trading. She appeared on Shark Tank in 2020 and has since been investing in startups, sports, and innovation. Hand Dry, Total Beach Tennis, Ride2Play!, Casa das Latas — these are well-thought-out investments in businesses with scaling potential. She also founded Dinastia Hub, which functions as an accelerator connecting entrepreneurs with mentors and opportunities.

What sets Carol apart is this combination of an experienced trader with a strategic investor’s vision. She analyzes businesses not only by their product but by the entrepreneur’s capability and growth potential. This is reflected in the fortune she has built over the years.

If you want to understand how real investments work, how to structure a career in the financial market, or how to identify scaling opportunities, it’s worth following what Carol does. Her story shows that knowledge, discipline, and strategy make all the difference.
