Just realize that many people still think that the dollar is the most expensive currency in the world, but if you deal with forex you know that this is far from true. Yesterday I was looking at the ranking of the most valuable currencies in the world and the Kuwaiti Dinar is skyrocketing in first place, quoted around 3.25 USD. Like, their economy is driven by oil and they have huge international reserves, which keeps the currency super strong.

The cool thing is that there are several more valuable currencies in the world that many people don't even know about. Bahrain, Oman, Jordan... all with rates well above the dollar. But if you want to invest in something more traditional, the British pound, Swiss franc, and euro remain the safest choices with the highest liquidity in the market.

What caught my attention is how the foreign exchange market is offering good opportunities in 2026. The most valuable currencies in the world are not only protection against the real's inflation but also have potential for appreciation depending on each country's monetary policy. I’m closely watching the Swiss franc and the Japanese yen, which are considered defensive assets in times of volatility.

Anyone thinking about diversifying their portfolio beyond crypto should consider the most valuable currencies in the world. The key is to choose the right currency pairs, study the rates, and define a strategy that makes sense with your risk profile. Forex isn’t as simple as it looks, but it’s worth understanding this market.
