Open interfaces are the trend, but the true moat will always be fulfillment efficiency and data reuse—Skill is just the entry point, not the end goal.

Meituan releases "Errand Skill" that can be integrated with multiple AI assistants
Meituan has launched a delivery-and-errands “Skill,” packaging ordering and fulfillment capabilities into standardized interfaces and opening them to external AI assistant ecosystems. Multiple integrations are in place, allowing users to place orders instantly from external interfaces without switching to the app. This move extends the delivery network and the fulfillment closed loop to external entry points, and incubates the community “Seeking Travel” public beta. Analysts say that opening up Skill will help AI with instant fulfillment, but it is unlikely to become a core moat; in the future, competition will still depend on the data closed-loop and the efficiency of reuse.
