I've been looking for the best trading app with little money for a while, and honestly, there are quite accessible options now. It's not like before when you needed thousands to start. I found 5 platforms that actually work well if you have limited capital.
MyTrade surprised me because you can start with just $20 USD. The interface is clean, no unnecessary clutter, and it has integrated TradingView charts. It's probably the best trading app if you're just starting because everything is very straightforward. No commissions, only spreads, and it gives you $50,000 USD in virtual money to practice for 90 days risk-free. That’s pretty good for beginners.
If you already have experience, AvaTrade offers more options. Founded in 2006, it has MetaTrader 4 and 5, and you can access professional accounts with higher leverage. Over 1,200 different assets. The minimum deposit is $100 USD. They also have interesting copy trading tools.
Plus500 is another strong option if you’re looking for variety. It has over 2,800 CFDs, is listed on the London Stock Exchange, and recently opened access to futures and prediction markets. Minimum deposit is also $100 USD. It’s more focused on active traders with experience.
XM is interesting if you’re attracted to high leverage. Up to 1:1000 (though with high risk). They have micro, standard, and ultra-low accounts depending on what you’re looking for. The minimum deposit is super low, only $5 USD. Compatible with MetaTrader 4 and 5. Ideal for those who master these platforms.
And there’s eToro, which is different. Launched in 2007, it’s more social. It has copy trading, so you can automatically replicate the trades of experienced traders. Minimum deposit of $50 USD. Better if you’re a beginner and want to learn by watching what others do.
The reality is that the best trading app depends on your level. If you have no experience, MyTrade or eToro are more user-friendly. If you already know what you’re doing, AvaTrade or XM give you more tools. Plus500 is for those who want a wide variety of assets.
All are regulated by official institutions, so they are safe in that regard. But before investing real money, practice with the demo accounts all of them offer. Trading always involves risks, it’s not magic. The key is to stay well-informed, practice, and choose wisely.
