The boundaries of sovereign digital infrastructure are being redrawn, and Kyndryl’s end of the deal is more than well earned.

The Dutch government has fully banned the proposed acquisition of Dutch cloud service provider Solvinity Group BV by American company Kyndryl due to security concerns.
Minister of Digital Economy Willemijn Aerdts wrote to the parliament stating that the acquisition could harm the public interest, and the transaction, which was nearly completed, has therefore been blocked.
