After mistakenly banning Kimi, only apologized to overseas users in English, causing domestic developers to angrily criticize double standards and permanently stop updating the open-source plugin.
The Dark Side of the Moon Kimi Code Plan sparked heated discussions due to the ban incident. Leechael developed the pi-provider-kimi-code adapter for Pi Coding Agent, allowing paying users to reuse quotas in the terminal, but was later banned by the official; overseas developer Noemi also claimed to have been banned. On May 26, the official unbanned and stated that strategies had been adjusted, but only responded in English on X to overseas users, leaving Chinese users without explanations or refunds, which caused dissatisfaction. Leechael announced a halt to updates and called for refunds, accusing the official of treating Chinese users differently, and declared that the adapter would no longer be maintained or updated.
