Lately I’ve been looking at the PFP/membership scene—there are always people saying, “You’re buying identity, you’re buying a brand.” I nod along while my hand trembles as I calculate gas. To be honest, I’m more afraid that what I’m buying is only short-term attention: a burst of hype, and then once it’s over, all that’s left on-chain is the avatar frame. Especially now, public opinion is tying ETF fund flows, U.S. stock risk appetite, and the ups and downs of the crypto market together—so it feels like everyone’s emotions come faster and fade faster too. Anyway, I’ll wait and confirm first: whether the community is still updating, whether the benefits can actually be delivered, and whether the secondary market is basically just relying on others to take the bag. Waiting for a pullback is fine as well. The main thing is to wait until I’ve thought it through clearly—so I don’t impulsively pay tuition again.
