Seriously, I thought it was cool to make some extra money on your phone. I did some research on these apps that promise to pay via Pix and even tested a few myself. The truth is, it works, but it’s not that quick cash that people expect, you know?

The ones I found the coolest were Cash App (which pays directly via Pix, very practical), CashPirate (simple interface, really pays), and Toloka (the tasks are a bit boring but profitable). Make Money, AppKarma, FeaturePoints, and all the others work, but most of them go through PayPal before reaching Pix, which delays things a bit.

The way it works is basically: you download the app, do a quick registration, then start playing mini-games, answering surveys, testing other apps, or doing simple tasks. You accumulate some points and then cash out. Each one has its own way, but the process is similar.

Now, the real deal: it’s not to get rich. It’s just supplementary income, like 50 to 100 reais per month if you’re consistent. Some people say they earned a lot, but that’s when you go all-in every day or manage to refer a lot of people.

The apps that pay more directly via Pix are few (only Cash App really does that), so most of the time you receive in dollars or via PayPal and then convert. There’s a comparison that shows which is easier to cash out.

But if you really want to earn free Pix, these sites and apps work, just be patient and don’t expect to get rich. And watch out for those that ask for an initial deposit, because that’s a guaranteed scam.
