#DRIFT is currently in a strong bullish trend, so this is an extremely risky counter-trend setup and should only be traded with proper risk management. Price has gone vertical in a short time and is now starting to show early exhaustion signs on lower timeframes.
The last few 1H candles are printing long upper wicks with relatively small candle bodies. This usually means buyers are pushing price higher, but sellers are aggressively rejecting those levels before candle close. In simple terms, momentum is still bullish, but upside strength is beginning to hesitate as profit-taking pressure increases.
MACD remains bullish overall, however histogram expansion is slowing down while RSI is already overheated across multiple periods. This often happens before either a sharp cooldown or a sideways reset phase. Still, bearish confirmation has NOT arrived yet, which is the most important thing to understand before entering.
⚠️ Confirmation for downside continuation only comes if price closes below the 0.0430 zone on the 15m timeframe. Without that breakdown, aggressive squeezes toward higher levels remain possible.
Another important factor is funding rate pressure. Current funding is deeply negative around -0.7, meaning holding shorts too long can slowly eat profits even if price moves sideways. Ideally, waiting for funding to normalize below -0.2 before entry gives much better positioning. If entering immediately, this becomes more of a quick momentum scalp rather than a long hold.
Once TP3 is reached, trailing stoploss to entry is highly recommended because volatile rebound candles can appear very fast in this structure 📉
