Today, I experienced that "lagging" feeling again when checking on-chain data—transactions are all confirmed, but the dashboard stays still for a long time… Thinking about it later, it’s not really mysterious: indexers need to slowly scan through a bunch of events, subgraphs have to resynchronize, and RPCs might be rate-limited (especially during peak times). Clicking refresh just pushes the queue forward a bit. Honestly, what we see as the “on-chain reality” is actually a shadow after several layers of relay.

Recently, the NFT royalty debate also feels similar: everyone’s arguing about creator income and liquidity, but when the statistical dashboards are delayed, emotions run high first, and once the data catches up, a new narrative emerges… Anyway, I’ve gotten used to checking two sources, staying calm, and not letting that one-second blank space throw me off. How about you?
