I've been looking at trading apps for a while and honestly, starting with a small amount of money is no longer as complicated as it used to be. I found several that are quite accessible, especially if you're a beginner like me.
MyTrade caught my attention because you can start with just $20. The interface is clean, nothing unnecessary that confuses you. It has integrated TradingView charts and you can trade stocks, forex, gold, Bitcoin, all from a single account. Plus, they give you 50,000 in virtual money to practice risk-free. I don’t know, for someone just starting with trading apps, it feels pretty secure.
Then there's AvaTrade, which is more for experienced people. Founded in 2006, it offers MT4 and MT5 if you're into MetaTrader. The minimum deposit is $100 and they have about 1,200 assets. If you want more leverage with a professional account, that's your option.
Plus500 has a huge variety of assets, more than 2,800 CFDs. They recently opened futures markets and prediction markets in the United States. But honestly, it's more for experienced traders; the deposit is also $100.
XM is interesting if you're looking for very high leverage, up to 1:1000. They've been in this since 2009, offering micro, standard, and ultra-low accounts depending on what you need. The minimum deposit is only $5, the lowest I’ve seen.
And eToro... well, eToro is different. You can automatically copy what other experienced traders do. That copy trading thing is great if you're a beginner because you learn by watching others. Minimum deposit of $50 and you get access to real stocks, not just CFDs like in others.
Honestly, choosing between these trading apps depends on what you're looking for. If you're a complete beginner, MyTrade with its low deposit and simple interface seems the safest. If you already have experience and want advanced tools, AvaTrade or XM with MetaTrader are more your style. And if you like the idea of learning by copying others, eToro has that covered.
What’s certain is, before investing real money, practice with the demo accounts that all of them offer. All trading involves risk, so better to be cautious.
