Since investing in power utility stocks for a long time, I see that this is one of the groups that provides relatively consistent returns, regardless of how volatile the market is.

In fact, power plant stocks are investments in something people use every day. Electricity is a basic necessity for factories and households, so the revenue of electric power companies is quite stable, making them popular among investors seeking safe assets in their portfolios.

Looking at the current Thai market, leading companies like GULF have a market value of over 795 billion baht, with a stock price of 54 baht, and a P/E ratio of 8.4x, which is quite attractive. GPSC, valued at 109 billion baht, priced at 38.75 baht, with a P/E of 18.7 times, is also a good option. RATCH, a major power producer with significant government shareholding, priced at 31.25 baht, with a P/E of 11.2 times, is another stable choice for investors.

Regarding EGCO, priced at 120.50 baht with a market value of 63.44 billion baht, I see that this company is expanding internationally, covering Asia-Pacific and North America, offering long-term growth opportunities.

BGRIM, BPP, BCPG, and EA are also interesting options, especially EA, which has expanded into clean energy, batteries, and electric vehicles. Its current price is 3.02 baht, with a strong increase yesterday of 5.6%.

What attracts me to these power utility stocks is, firstly, they pay relatively high dividends and have stable performance. Secondly, the government continues to support them through plans like PDP and AEDP. Thirdly, the green energy trend continues to grow worldwide; even if some countries adjust policies, the clean energy sector still receives support.

Honestly, these stocks are not for those seeking quick profits but for those wanting steady passive income, long-term investment, and diversification. They are a very good option.

Compared to investing in other assets, power utility stocks offer stability and reasonable returns. You shouldn't expect huge profits, but they are not risky either. So, if you're looking for an investment that balances risk and return, this is something worth considering further.
