South Korea Sets Registration Rule for Cross-Border Crypto Transfers

South Korea approved a Foreign Exchange Transactions Act amendment that will require businesses to register before handling cross-border virtual asset transfers. The bill passed the National Assembly on May 7 and was approved in a cabinet meeting on May 26. The law will be promulgated on June 2 and take effect six months later.
