Been digging into commodities trading platforms lately and honestly there's way more options than I thought. Started looking because everyone talks about trading oil, gold, and all that stuff, but nobody really breaks down which platforms actually make sense for it.

So I checked out like 8 different ones and they're honestly all over the place with what they offer. Some are super beginner-friendly with copy trading features (eToro does that thing where you can mirror other traders), while others are more for the hardcore crowd who want advanced charting and research tools. The fees vary a lot too - some use spreads, some charge commissions, it's confusing at first.

Mitrade kept coming up as solid because they let you trade commodities like oil and gold without actually owning them through CFDs, plus they have decent leverage options and a demo account to test stuff. IG Group is another one people recommend if you want deep research and market analysis tools. Plus500 is straightforward if you just want a simple fee structure with no commissions.

What's interesting is that most of these commodities trading platforms now let you access energy assets, precious metals, industrial metals, and agricultural stuff all in one place. The spreads and commissions definitely add up though, so that's worth comparing before you pick one.

Anyone else been looking at these? Curious what people actually use for commodities trading platforms day to day. The comparison tables help but it's hard to know which one actually fits your style until you try it.
