I just checked the trading hours and it's true that the stock exchange is open today in Madrid. It opens at 9:00 am and closes at 5:30 pm, so if you want to trade the IBEX 35 or some of those big Spanish companies like BBVA or Inditex, you need to pay attention to those hours. The interesting thing is that before the official opening, there is an auction from 8:30 am, and after the close, there is another until 5:35 pm. It's not the same as other markets I know. From Monday to Friday, it operates normally, but on weekends, nothing. Is there anyone else trading on the Spanish stock exchange, or is it just me that it's less known here?
