How can someone earning just ₦45,000 from a teaching job survive in today’s Nigeria?

A man wakes up before dawn every Monday to Friday, leaves home by 6:30am, and returns around 4pm; dedicating his life to educating the next generation.
Now calculate the reality:
• Transportation
• Feeding
• Rent
• Electricity
• Data
• Family responsibilities
• Medical bills
• Other daily expenses
At the end of the month, what is left?
This is the painful reality for many Nigerian citizens. People are working hard, yet surviving has become a daily battle.
A teacher, someone shaping the future of the nation should not have to live in hardship and frustration.
An average Nigerian is also tired, drained, frustrated and depressed.
Shalom 🙏
