I recently found that I still need to use a computer to check the market—my phone screen is too small to properly see MACD, KD, and other technical indicators, and multitasking just isn’t workable. I’ve put together some more useful market charting software for 2026 and I’m sharing it with everyone.
San Zhu Stock Market is mainly the top choice for Taiwan stock users: it offers free market viewing, 24 technical indicators, ten market-viewing modes that you can customize, and an AI stock-picking feature. The downside is that placing orders requires connecting to a third-party broker, which is a bit inconvenient, and the data for US stocks isn’t as comprehensive. But if you’re focused specifically on the Taiwan market, the stability of this software is second to none.
Mitrade is a fairly special platform—it has both a web version and a desktop application, with a clean and intuitive interface that beginners can get up to speed with quickly. Its advantage is that it lets you trade multiple asset types, including US stocks, Australian stocks, cryptocurrencies, forex, and more—all handled end to end with one account—and it also supports deposits and withdrawals in New Taiwan Dollars. However, it mainly deals with contracts for difference, so it’s not really suitable for long-term holding.
Futu NiuNiu’s desktop version is designed to be quite comprehensive: the price chart is on the left, financial data and valuation information are on the right, and there are also options calculation tools. It covers Hong Kong stocks, US stocks, and A-shares, and supports both Windows and Mac. But its funding methods are limited—you can only use bank wire transfers.
Interactive Brokers (IB) is an established, long-running brokerage. Its features are powerful, but a bit complicated. The Trader Workstation trading platform supports more than 120 markets worldwide, which makes it very convenient for people who want to invest overseas—especially in the bond market. The downside is that the interface is complicated; beginners need time to adapt, so it’s more suitable for experienced traders.
TradingView’s charting feature is one of the strongest in the market, with more than 100 technical indicators and charting tools. Its database covers Taiwan stocks, US stocks, forex, commodities, cryptocurrencies, and even Indian stocks. The community features are also pretty good—you can see discussions from other investors. The downside is that it doesn’t provide order placement on its own; you need to connect to a broker separately, and full functionality requires a paid subscription.
To be honest, which market charting software you choose still depends on your own needs. If you only want to track Taiwan stock market quotes, San Zhu is enough; if you want to trade multiple assets, Mitrade or IB is more flexible; and if you’re a professional analyst, TradingView’s charting capabilities are unbeatable. Each one has its own use—there’s no absolute best, only the most suitable.
