Over the past two days, “testnet incentives” and “points expectations” have been flooding the screens again, and everyone in the group keeps asking whether the mainnet will actually issue tokens… When I hear this kind of suspense, I can’t help getting restless—my attention gets dragged along. To put it plainly, it’s just giving other people traffic and exit liquidity. For “long-term,” what I set for myself is actually pretty short: one month counts as long-term. If I can make it through two or three rounds of hot-topic rotation without going after them, then that’s a win. The approach is also kind of plain: when FOMO hits, I shut the page first. I might at most take a little spot as a way to feel involved, and then use small options to hedge the emotions—so I don’t end up selling my sleep and my mindset just for those points. Anyway, during my leverage detox period, I’d rather miss out than get cut a second time by the same old script.
