Recently, parallel processing and sharding are getting hot again, and it feels like everyone is rushing to tell “faster and cheaper” stories. But I personally care about two things instead: where to keep assets the most safely, and whether I can exit smoothly when I really need to. To put it simply, no matter how strong the chain is, if there’s trouble with the bridge or the contracts, the story is all for nothing.
These days, fee rates are extremely high again. In the group chat, people are arguing whether it’s a reversal or whether the bubble is still being squeezed. I’m not the type to guess tops and bottoms—I’m watching for “signals”: whether people start using high leverage to chase narratives, and whether details like on-chain congestion and withdrawal queues are showing up at the same time. If it really does happen, I’ll shift my positions to places where I can withdraw quickly—survive first, then watch the show. After all, opportunities will always come around for the next one.
