Mediocrity

The most unfortunate identity is a project that is neither a leader in its track nor one that has simply given up entirely. Unable to innovate, and unable to do its research well, it can only make a living by copying other projects.
Like the honest student in class, anxious about exam results, yet helpless about its situation. A brief burst of enthusiasm, always switching to new tracks—while blaming itself for being so inept.
In the end, it gets buried among the crowd with the most ordinary identity, yet lives the most agonizing days.
