These days, the funding rates are extremely volatile again, and the group chat is a mess: whether to reverse or continue squeezing the bubble. I muted the group, and instantly it became peaceful, my heartbeat wasn't being pulled along so much... Then I realized that my biggest risk isn't actually opening long or short positions, but accidentally clicking too quickly when cross-chain.

Basically, this bridge thing is "trust a group of people + trust a set of price feeds/proof mechanisms." With fewer signers, scattered keys, and unclear distribution, I automatically assume double the risk; if the oracle malfunctions, even if it looks like the funds have arrived on-chain, it might just be an illusion. Now I basically force myself to wait for confirmation when cross-chain, even if it takes a few extra minutes, at least giving myself a calm window: if something really goes wrong, I won't regret it just because I couldn't resist that moment. Anyway, I’d rather miss a bit of speed than keep writing post-mortem reviews of my mistakes.
